Neighbourhood Watch Association

The Organisation and Aims.

The Aims of Neighbourhood Watch are:

1. To help reduce crime.

2. To help reduce the fear of crime.

3. To foster neighbourliness and closer communities.

Waterlooville and District Neighbourhood Watch Association

Waterlooville and District Neighbourhood Watch Association is the organisation nearly 250 street-level Neighbourhood Watch Schemes in the area policed by Hampshire Constabulary from Waterlooville Police Station (with the exception of those schemes in Rowlands Castle which, for historic reasons, continue their affiliation to the separate Havant Neighbourhood Watch Association). These Schemes cover more than 5000 households.

The association is affiliated to the Hampshire Neighbourhood Watch Association.

An Annual General Meeting is held in May of each year, to which all Scheme Coordinators are invited. This meeting receives the Chairman's and Treasurer's reports and elects officials for the year ahead and also aims to invite some interesting guest speakers.

The 2011 AGM was held on 25 May 2011, and the Minutes are available to read in PDF format here:
